Cutwoodco. was founded in 2020 by Daniel Cutler. Born in Australia and raised in Southern California, Daniel is an avid surfer and snowboarder with an appreciation for nature; his respect for the ocean shaped a lifelong passion for the environment and sustainability. His artistic instincts led him to art school in San Francisco in the early 2000’s, where he studied painting and film while honing his skills in design and his interest in hands-on craftsmanship. Driven by a desire to reconnect with nature, Daniel returned to his roots in Australia to work with the Green Corps, focusing on the rehabilitation of ancient wetland ecosystems and the protection of endangered species - an experience that deepened his commitment to environmental stewardship.
